Tips and Trysts - Rebecca Kinkade

This has been this month of ARC goodness. Next up? The INCREDIBLE Tips and Trysts by Rebecca Kinkade.

Previously, I talked about Streams and Schemes by Rebecca - because it was incredible - and now I was lucky enough to get an early peek at the sequel.

Tips and Trysts follows the story of Everett and Cora who we met in Streams and Schemes when Everette was a GRADE A SCHMUCK and INSULTED HER about her profession in SPECTACULAR FASHION.

That of course meant that they would have sparks like the Fourth of July...

Here we find out that he was a total bag of flaming dicks because she did the one thing that's nearly impossible to do to a politicians son, she made him nervous and he lost his shit.

Now, he does the nice thing and rescues her when one of her customers gets all aggressive with her at a bar and that of course leads to hot make outs. Which ends... poorly and then they get all aggressive and hateful with each other again... until a disgruntled voter tries to take out Everett and Cora returns the favor and SAVES HIS LIFE. I guess they don't hate each other so much after all.

The will they/won't they, push and pull dynamic is insane. The banter is literally TOP TIER and reminds me of something you'd hear on West Wing or Gilmore Girls ... it's literally that fast and furious but more dirty and flirty and it's SO HOT.

Once the spice starts the book gets absolutely un-put-down-able. I literally finished this book in one afternoon because I couldn't stop. I had to know, I had to read, I had to see where it was going, I had to know how things were going to resolve.

Here's the thing about this book - Cora and Everett are both intense, smart, flawed people who made me both want to hug them and smack them at the same time and watching their story unfold is a joy. The ex PhD candidate cam girl and the aspiring politician shouldn't fit so well together but they do and the way they mix is chemistry of the best kind.

So run and pre-order your copy NOW before it comes out on October 11th because HOT DIGGTY DAMN you want to be there when this drops. Seriously. This is the only thing I want to talk about related to politics. It's the October Surprise you've been waiting for!
