On My Bookish BS

 Two books. One title. Two very fun and different experiences.  Earlier this year I read My Brother's Teammates by Rebel Bloom and I was like Oh! Fun! And then last week I came across My Brother's Teammates by Melissa Ivers and Lasairiona McMaster and I was like ... wait, didn't I read this? Nope. Very different! And hooray! Both are sports romance, both are why choose, both are brothers best friend, and both are spicy good times but they're way different and awesome in their own ways. In Rebel Blooms book the FMC is supposed to move in with her boyfriend and on the day of the big move he freaks out and ends things. So, no place to go she shows up on the doorstep of her brother who is a quarterback heartthrob with three amazingly hot roommates. Being the awesome big brother he takes her in and lets her move in and of course she falls for all three of her brothers friends. Because of course she does. It turns into drama for her, the hotties, and her brother. Lots of hot...

 Just when I thought St. Louis was through with me... oh no... first we had Baseball mafia men and then we had Cowboys and now the incredible trilogy of the Burnout series which is hot ass STREETRACERS. The third book of this hot ass series was just released yesterday and after a very late night I finished the book in record speed today and I am just ... hot damn. So let's talk about the men of Oasis.  Dontell and Mina take the spotlight in this novel full of racing and family drama (both biological and chosen family), and sex trafficking. Seriously, consider your triggers, folks. I didn't know I wanted a man to bang me over the hood of a car so badly until I met these men.  And it only gets more intense with Leon and Amara. Um... Leon is a controlling, bad ass, sexy mother fucker who I will submit to any day. At one point he says "Good girls get pleasure. Bad ones get used" and this made me feel all bratty inside and I had a very hard time concentrating on the plot f...

So, the weather is getting warmer and I like sports romance so I was like let's go from hockey to baseball. Oh? Batter Up ? That sounds cute!  IT WAS NOT CUTE. No.. what I thought was going to be a cute baseball romance was a hot, steamy, sexy, thrilling baseball MAFIA romance that lead me to a street racing romance series and a cowboy romance series and I am not mad about it.  I have eye strain and my hands are full from juggling all these new book boyfriends but I am not mad about it.  First we meet Dean. Baseball player, hottie, over-the-top-over-protective baddie, and my new boyfriend. Is he trouble in tight pants? Of course he is. Dean and his girl go on the run ... and take my heart with them. Gwen goes hard core revenge girl against the mafia for everything that happened in Batter Up. I love that journey for her. Seriously. Gwen is my book girlfriend. She's the hotness.  Oh hi Agent Sexy.
